Laptop Cover/Case Scratch Remover.

I have searched online for ages for something that will remove a 3cm scratch from my laptop but can only find stuff that will remove the scratch from the screen but I need something for the case. It's only a small scratch and there must be something available for removing them. Can anyone reccomend anything? The case of the laptop is silver and metal-y lol which isn't much help but if anyone can reccomend something I'd be grateful.

Otherwise, just experiment from using TIM Clean to wet wipes...be aggressive

Just get a brillo pad and give it that "brushed aluminium" look. OR just slap on some decals to make it look proper pimped!

Brasso works a treat on minor scratches - I've used it on everything from polishing out a scratch on the face of an old watch to minimising the appearance of a couple of scratches on my iPod. Google it if you don't believe me.

Is your laptop lid acrually metal, or just plastic with a silver finish?

I'm pretty sure it's metal. It's solid and when I scratch my nail along it, it feels like metal. Definately not plastic I know that.

I have a plastic one and it has a shallow scratch and some scuffs. Is here anything like T cut that will fix it?

Toothpaste can work well sometimes. Straight out of the old housewife suggestion box.
