Anyone know what causes leg cramps?
i was driving today and got bad cramp in my leg so pulled over and got my dad to drive(im learner driver anyway) it since aint gone
my dad said its because im lacking salt as mixed race(me)/black(him) people need more salt in there body then white as my moms white and trys to avoid as much salt as possible i dont get much salt(does this make sense)
i heard dehydration is causes it aswel

it's due to the constant leg action that you are performing.. a lack of salt and sometime it can be due to water retntion as well as dehydration.. try drinking some orange squash with a bit of salt in it.. or lucozade or the like.. and try and stretch you leg out.. which muscle is it?!

explains my hip cramps every month week for due on:rolleyes:

its in top of leg/bum cheek
and now behind the knee and the calf

its never happened before while driving i been driving for 9 months plus do alot of leg action daily(jigg to get me to sleep, relax, carm down, general)
Tired muscles, i find i get cramp if my muscles are tired and i stress them.
pregnancy can cause leg cramps too lol.
but it's probably from the repetitive leg movement, and yeh, could be from lack of salt (unless you already eat a lot of salt, in which case it probably isn't that)
