I'll be travelling around Portugal/Spain in August/September with a friend. We're both 21, male, and are after beaches, nightlife, food, and want to stay away from the stereotypical Benidorm, Magaluf, and other predominantly British places.
We have flights booked to Lisbon and then to Madrid a few days later. We have a flight back from Barcelona three weeks after that.
We're going to use a Spanish Inter-rail pass and are thinking to head south from Madrid, maybe to Malaga, and move up the east coast to spend our final week in Barcelona.
This gives us about two weeks (ish) to get from Malaga (or somewhere similar) to Barcelona, with stop offs in-between.
