boys texting

theres a boy who i like and we have kissed and stuff and whenever i see him he gives all the signs that he likes me. but he never texts me or makes any contact. Whenever I text him he alwasy replies basically asking weather I want to do something so i dont really know why he never contacts me first.
is this normal? like is it normal for a boy to leave it almost a week without any form of contact? I dont wanna seem too keen by texting him all the time if hes not at all interested or whatever. just a bit confused, and any advice would be welcome!

Sounds like he doesnt want too seem to pushy and doesnt know whether he should text you or not, do you both use msn? because thats a good way to get conversation flowing, as its easier to express your self if your nervous that way.

When u text him what do u usually say?

Send him questions that he can elaborate on like "arrgh that was such a crappy day how was yours?" and he should text back with some detail at least.

Yeah alot of people hate texting, i've gotta say i go through stages where i cant be bothered to have conversations through text so i'll either just ring the person back or send them a blunt message back.

I wouldnt worry about it, if he replies and asks you to meet up then atleast hes making it simple and not playing games!

i've come to the conclusion that men in general just don't like txting as much as we do. but yeah it's bloody annoying when you keep checking your phone & theres nothing. just don't reply to his txts for a week & see how he likes it- 2 can play that game!!!!!

Lol! I find its completely the other way round with me and my girlfriend! I find that im the one that texts much more than her, and i hardly ever get any replies back, it takes her like 14 hours to reply!

I'm male and not the biggest fan of txting, I wouldn't worry about it unless it's unusual for him not to txt i.e. he does it all the time and then just stops

The ONLY person I make an exception for is my g/f I have a mate who lives in wrexham who regularly sends me complex convoluted questions about one aspect or another about the inner workings of a classic MGB. My responce to him is always "Too compliated for text, call me for answer" always calls as well :/

Guys generally go out of their way to please a girl though. well... the ones that deserve a girl do imho.

How about asking a direct question to the guy :smile:

Perhaps you should try to in future? It's not always nice to be the one initiating conversation. You have to give to take.

I agree, I find it much easier to text via my computer. I get charged to my phone BUT typing is much quicker than using the phones keys.

I guess most mobile providers have a site from which you can text, however, I believe there are some FREE sites that let you send a few free text messages everyday. This might be useful for people that are running short on credit.

Im male. I send 800-900 texts a month. I like it! lol. Gone down now though, used to send alot to the ex.
