Hello!
So I am thinking of taking Psychology for AQA GCSE.
INTEREST only, the school offers CIE IGCSE. So I chose this basically because I am ABSOLUTELY interested in this subject.

Yet, I am not sure whether there are tutors in my place that can teach me this subject, so I think I might need to self-study....

1) Is self-studying okay for psychology in AQA GCSE?
2) What textbook(s) do you recommend (especially for the ones who are self-studying)?
I've seen some in Amazon that have quite great ratings and reviews:
a. AQA GCSE Psychology by Karen Boswell (http://www.amazon.co.uk/AQA-GCSE-Psy...pr_product_top)
b. AQA Psychology for GCSE: Understanding Psychology 3rd Edition by Barbara Woods (http://www.amazon.co.uk/AQA-Psycholo...pr_product_top)
c. Psychology: A Complete GCSE Course by Geoffrey Shoesmith (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/034098531...oding=UTF8&me=)

THANKS!!!

If your taking the AQA Psychology specification then buy the official AQA book. Its the best one to get

http://www.amazon.co.uk/AQA-GCSE-Psy...roomviglink-21

I use them for other subjects and they're good. They have good questions to do and easy to revise from. Plus they're written by them same people who will write you exam!

hope this helped
