Media Production at Lincoln

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to make a challenging choice between applying for the Media Production course at Lincoln or to take on an Illustration course at Middlesex.

In this case, I'd like to ask whether people have enjoyed the Media Production course at Lincoln and think its worth it?
Or even, why people have chosen the course?

Personally, I love the variety the course has to offer, but I'm a little confused with the research projects in the second year and what that entails.

Anyway, I have been to the campus and I do love Lincoln as a whole, it's just I have been struggling with choosing a course.

I look forward to hearing some opinions!

I've just finished first year of Media Production at Lincoln and I really enjoyed it :smile: The reason I chose the course was the variety of modules you do in first year (6) and then in second year you choose 2 to specialise in.

Your other choice, illustration, would be quite different from the Lincoln course so you'll have to decide if that's definitely what you want to focus on, or if you think you'd prefer to do a broader media course.

I'm very glad you enjoyed Media Production!
I had a look at the facilities again yesterday and it seems like an exciting environment so I think I'll consider it further.

I'm mostly basing it because I really enjoyed Media at A Level and, again, how the course holds a lot of variety!

Hey CPal,

You should definitely consider our Media Production course! I actually graduated there myself. It's great for people who aren't 100% sure what media field they want to get into (radio, film, photography, graphic design, digital media etc) but would like a chance to experiment before specialising in their chosen field.
