I think it might be because he's Eastern European and people from more relevant countries can't stand a Serb annihilating all their champions.

Because he is often quite cocky and disrespectful to the towel people (not sure what they're actually called lol)

I don't think he is hated. I don't hate him anyway. I don't like him as much as Nadal or Federer as they are GOAT and I doubt he will catch either in terms of Grand slams. All three have a better personality than Murray though who is just a bore.

man the sad thing is Roger's Wimbledon's aren't even as worth as much as Novak's. When fed was on the Wimbledon roll he didn't have any real competition yet. If Djoker and Rafa were born 6,7 years earlier there's no way in hell he's have as many grand slams as he does. Also 23 - 10 against Nadal tsk tsk

Novak's won 3. Roger's won 7. There were fewer great players when Roger was at his best but you still had the likes of Hewitt, Roddick, and Nadal at their prime and if you look at Novak's journey to the final this year it was hardly the most difficult. Novak's got a while before he can overtake Roger's Wimbledon achievements in my opinion.

I'm not sure who's going to be able to challenge him over the next few years though. Roger's only going to be at his top game at SW19. Rafa can't play well on any surface other than clay. Murray's consistent and can beat the lower ranked players but when it comes to the top players he just seems to choke more often than not. The only one who seems to have the beating of Novak is Stan, but he's 30 and won't be there forever. Unless the likes of Kyrigos, Raonic, and Dimitrov can take over the mantle of Fed and Rafa I honestly can't see any player who will be able to stop him getting at least another 10 slams.
He shouted at a ballgirl and she cried! What good sportsman does that? Plus he has paddy-fits like a child when the game doesn't go his way. Learn to deal with it like a professional, whether you're no.1 or not :colonhash:

Ah, he's great. He's a good sport and always seems to be smiling when he's playing. I wasn't aware anyone genuinely disliked him.

Another reason could be, He forced Mr. Federer to bite the dust and @ the same time he tasted some grass.

It really is this simple: he's successful.

He's probably not as charming or likeable as Roger, either. The Swiss superstar was a tough act to follow, and Djokovic seems altogether more human and he encompasses the broad spectrum of human emotion. Federer was just charming, calm and utterly class.

You're joking, right?
I can't get it why he is disliked by people. He is a fair sportsman and a great tennis player. I see no reasons to hate him, but the success.

I rather think that people are jealous of Djokovic.
