Ughh i read so many books yet when someone asks me for my favourites my mind goes blank and i forget everything i've ever read.

A few that spring to mind:
The Wheel of Time series
Night Angel Trilogy
I love Chuck Palahniuk a lot (Fight Club [don't judge], Invisible Monsters, Lullaby)
HP (obv)

As a teenager I loved the Eragon series, terry pratchett's stuff, and muddle earth.

Picking 1 favourite book would be ridic hard
