Friday for salafi wahabis that follow saudi
Saturday or Friday for muslims in UK who will follow moon sightings according to UK
Surely Muslims do their annual pilgrimage in Saudi? So why would muslims in the UK do it on a separate day? Correct me if I'm wrong, the second eid is followed by the day of Arafah, so why did some muslims do it 2 days after it last year? Seriously, what's wrong with some of you guys??? No wonder there's so much divisions within your community, you can't even have eid on a single day.

A new month in the Islamic calendar starts when the new moon is spotted. It has been seen by many people around the world, hence why eid is on Friday.

Friday if you follow Saudi that do astronomical calculations but fail to actually sight the moon. Saturday if you follow Morocco who wait for an actual moon sighting.

Would love it if you guys could please fill out my "Which day did you do Eid" survey - www.IsItEidYet.com/EidSurvey. I'm trying to get some statistics and data behind how many muslims did each day and why they do so and how that varies by location! Help a brother out...!
