Thoughts on Received Pronunciation (Queen's English)?

What are your thoughts of a person who speaks with the above accent?
I prefer other accents like Yorkshire accent, Birmingham accent, Geordie, Liverpool accent, Scottish accent, they all sound much better.

I like it!

As a foreigner, this was the accent that i was taught and trained to speak in.

Too bad my accent is Canadian now.

How can you be trained to speak the Queen's English? Surely it would just sound forced!

I love it, it's like the most attractive accent for me.
However I don't have it :frown:
I speak as close to the queens English as most people get, I'm from Hertfordshire and so have a typical Southern England/Home Counties accent, I really dislike the accent, of course I sound like a typical 'British accent' but it's ever so dull and boring, plus I just sound incredibly posh, which I'm really not.

it's nice because sometimes it can make a guy sound so debonair and benedict cumberbatch just made me like omg
It bores me.
Yorkshire is the sexiest accent, but Queen's English is rather nice too.:ninja:

I have been told I sound very posh and speak well, so I wonder how far off from Queen's English I am ... :iiam:
