Can I create a personal statement catered to both? I'm so fukin confused about what degrees to pick. Is architecture dead? Can I do engineering if my heart isn't completely in it? What about if there is only one university in the whole of the UK doing the degree I want? How do I deal with my personal statement?

Hi, by any chance is the one course you want to do the HK21 Architecture and Structural Engineering course at Sheffield? If not then this could perhaps be an option! There are several similar courses running in the UK, too, most leading to dual accreditation by RIBA and IStructE

As far as I know architecture is more artistic design whereas engineering is more technical design.
