Is Keele good for accounting&finance?

As per title, also, a review of the Keele Management School in general. Course quality, job prospects, in comparison with other universities etc.

Many thanks!

Hi @excusemebij

Keele Management School’s Accounting and Finance programme will give you the opportunity to gain a firm grounding in both areas providing you with the right balance of how to apply accounting and finance techniques but also why we use those techniques. The courses also benefit from extensive use of specialist software such as Stata, Datastream and the Bloomberg Professional Services Platform. You can tailor your studies through a series of electives over the three years and have the opportunity to study abroad at one of our partner universities.

As a student you will learn from high calibre academics who come from a range of backgrounds, who are also active researchers, and regularly present their work at conferences and publish in leading journals. Research informs their teaching meaning students are introduced to the latest theories and thinking in each subject area.

Studying at KMS will provide you with a solid grounding for your future career. The School works closely with businesses, professional accreditation bodies and the University's Careers and Employability Service to ensure we equip students with the right set of skills employers are looking for. 96% of students who graduated in 2014 found employment or went on to further study within six months of graduation.

Hope this helps!
