Manchester & Lancaster are both highly reputable institutions. Lancaster has a 6* Business School and it is one of the very few to have a collegiate system in the UK. Manchester on the other hand is a city university and will not only be more expensive but you will have to travel round a busy city to get to levtures every day. I personally don't rate the FT rankings because i know people that have attended Oxford, Cambridge, LSE and have left after a year because it was crap...

But anyway good luck.

Manchester, although if imperial tanaka is a choice that makes it alittle more difficult.
But with regards to the original post "Manchester without a shadow of a doubt"

Go for Lancaster.

Cass and Imperial should be considered above and beyond Manchester and Lancester if your looking for future prospects and reputation.

I'll be in a similar situation in the future, but my list will include London Business School - I would advise looking into that insitution closely.

job prospectus---no sure
reputation-------no!
phs imperial college is more reputable as a whole, but tanaka and case is by no mean more reputable than mbs!
