why should you be worried? there are plenty of people that dont drink!
You haven't really given enough detail... I don't drink much at all, but most people want to get drunk which I never will. You don't have to do anything you don't want to - but generally I've had good fun at the parties so it's all good.
So... you wan't to go to kiss other lads?

My advice: erm, pretend to be drunk or... erm... just get drunk?
Just go. It's fun to be the only sober one. That way you can tell everyone how stupid they are being, and they should find respect for you for a) not drinking like everyone else and b) making sure they don't go too outrageous. Just try and keep everyone under control without being too bossy, but make sure you also get involved in some of the laughs though!

i used to be a tee totaller as well..dont worry about it..u can hav a good time even if u are sober (of course i'v found u can hav an even better one if ur wasted:P ) but hey..mayb ppl will actually appreciate the fact that by the end of the nite sum1's still got a level head and can figure out hw the hell ur gon all get home instead of ending up on a park bench sumwhere next to a hobo (trust me..its happened before n its not nice)

jus to clarify u a lad or a lass..cos kissin other lads is a bit strange if ur straight..even wen drunk..

So what if you don't drink? You won't be the only one.

An 18th is just like any other big party, there shouldn't be anything different about it.

Why are you worried?
I don't know why you have this assumption guys go round kissing other guys all the time at parties....?

I am worried because I havent been to any other 18ths. People tell me stuff about what happens at parties and virtually everyone is like I got pissed. What actually happens at 18ths, usually? lol.

My main worry is that i will be lauged at for not drinkin or forced into it.

Yeah, most people are drunk...but it completely depends on the type of people who are at the party as to whether or not they force you into it. Most 18ths I went to I drank, but whenever I didn't (say if I'd been feeling ill or had to get up early in the morning) nobody commented. I didn't really notice who was drinking and who wasn't anyway- lots of alcohol could pass for soft drink in appearance and vice versa. I'm sure you'll have a great time, don't worry about it.
Surely there'll be people driving there who won't be downing 4 pints every second?

And to be honest, it's always fun to laugh at drunk people, especially if they're your best friends :P
Yep, Angleharpist is right. By the time you get to 18 there is really no need to worry about everyone getting drunk because there are ALWAYS drivers who obviously can't drink. The kind of party you're describing sounds more like a 16 year old sort of party to be honest...
It doesn't matter really.
If you're that bothered make up an excuse why you don't want to have alcoholic drinks something like you don't want a hangover as you're doing something the next day which you can't miss.:p:

well my worry is that I have never been to a party which invloves drink so I am kinda worried in that sense too as to what may happen because sometimes I hear about police getting invlovled etc, theres a bar where this party is taking place so maybe not everyone will get served?
hey, don't worry! I've been to parties and I've been the only one not drinking. (I can't cos I'm on loads of medication). People don't usually notice. They're normally too drunk to notice and if they do notice, they'll probably have forgotten by the next day. And if they havent, they may just be jealous because a) you can remember what they did when they cant and b) they have to get drunk to have fun whereas you can have fun without drinking.

Go to the party. You'll only regret it if you don't go. Plus, everyone is only 18 once and if this guy wants you to be celebrating it with him, you should be pleased.

Is there any reason that you don't drink? 18th parties usually end up with a group of teenagers who can't handle their drink laying in pools of sick... the odd couple having sex in various places and a few eyebrows shaven off / marker pen moustaches.

If you don't drink you'll be in a better off situation as you won't pass out and lose an eyebrow, or sleep with the ugliest girl/guy there. One or two drinks can't hurt, surely?

Just enjoy yourself as you would at any other party!
