A special night

I am planning a special night for my girlfriend and want to put rose petals or something on my bed, but when i looked at this on the internet it is very expensive. Therefore i was wondering whether there is still a nice cheap alternative and anyone who lives in Birmingham where i would get them from in town please??

you can buy 'love petals' which are silk rose petals from Sainsburies for a couple of quid. Or go to a local florist and ask if they sell any.
