Biomedical science q&a thread!! 2015/2016

Hey! i've done all research on BSC Biomedical Science. I've noticed that there's a huge competition in this area and a lack of jobs. To become specalised you do a 3 year training which isn't bad however, so many people are competing to get a place! Most people have to do Masters or even a PHD!

I was wondering if anyone has done this course what careers have they gone in?
Many biomedical sciences graduates undertake further study because an increasing number of careers in the science sector require entrants to have a specific postgraduate qualification. By studying at postgraduate level, you will further develop your specialist knowledge, research skills and communication skills.

What?

I'm not sure what you're confused about! My sig tells you that I did a PhD after I finished my first degree, where I did it and what I did it in. My post tells you that I now work as a postdoc (someone who has finished their PhD) in academia (a university or a research institute instead of industry). Which bit don't you understand?

I'm not into that to be honest.

I'm a kind, helpful person who loves to help people and make them feel healthier or reduce illnesses. I like providing advices and using my scientific knowledge to help people. I don't mind practical work but not looking forward to doing it 24/7.

The careers i'm considering are: scientist, dietitian, pharmacist and teaching. Which career do you think would suit me the most? You can choose more than one!
