It's different for every person.

The classic signs are though, your eyes go red, you begin to lose balance, you may experience a feeling of elation or emphasis of some emotion(s). Trying to form coherent sentances will be an almost impossible task.

If you've never been 'that' drunk; that's a very good thing. I try not to ever drink to excess as I just don't see the point in becoming paraplegic. I only ever try to drink until I get to my 'merry' stage, that is, when I'm just very happy - tipsy would probably be an apt description. I fail to see why people wish to carry on drinking, past the 'best' part of being drunk and to the point of binging. I've been there a few times and not once have I enjoyed it, you feel very sick, your head is spinning and you're almost guarentteed to repeat your meals.

I go red, my face goes numb, I cant see straight, and i basically will kiss any bloke that comes within 3 feet of me.

I hate being drunk.

when i'm drunk i think stupid things like:
'**** it's 3am, i have to set off for college in four hours. I better go home'
'woooow time for colllege yeaaah! i love schoooool!'
'ooo let's walk to ASDA! lets go up to the castle! lets go and sit on that roof!'

when i am drunk i also do very stupid things. I know this because i will wake up one morning and find a number of foreign objects on my bedroom floor; a coat/clothes which does not belong to me, a friend i do not remember speaking passed out on the floor, 10 advent calenders the week after chritmas, a guitar . . . the list is endless.

I never feel drunk enough to vomit though. unless you count festivals. but i lame that on the food.

The first time I ever got drunk (which was, unfortunately, on vodka) I thought it would be a good idea to have a bath (at about 6pm) and woke up in it at about 11pm. Fortunately no-one had noticed! I think I was in year 9 or something, which sounds terrible, looking back...

I've only ever had one sort of "bad morning after the night before" experience, which was the morning after my 17th birthday, when I was violently ill. At least now I know my limits.

I try not to get really drunk but I remember on my drunkest occassion lying in bed which felt like it was spinning around!

Reply 6

telling everyone things you weren't meant to! crazy dancing, snogging randoms, drinking more and not stopping, smoking about 100 fags, crying for no reason, blowing things out of proportion. man i love drinking think i may crack open some wine now before i go out!

Reply 7

Hmmm well I get very excitable. I flirt a lot (seriously a LOT) lol and snog random people. And I come up with stupid plans like 'ooooooh......lets spend the night on a beach on brighton' or 'I dare you to x/y/z!' or 'lets go break into college through an open window' or similar things. Generally I also find I end up buying random people drinks and getting stranded places.

Oh and eventually my head starts to spin and I feel sick.

Reply 8

Oh and then of course there is emotional Emma who is unable to deal with anything out of the ordinary and cries randomly. It really depends what mood I am in/who I am with as to how I react to being drunk

Reply 9

To echo what has been said above, I should stress that everyone reacts differently. To be honest, you'll have the most fun if you drink as much as you already have been, without crossing the line to getting drunk. It's not worth making a fool of yourself (possibly getting aggressive or just irritating everybody), having an awful hangover the next morning, throwing up all over the place and risking unconsciousness.

But I think we all learn this the hard way

I kiss too many people - I really should stop it. I also tend to fall over a lot so I get very bruised, this is when I am very drunk though but that doesn't take very much lol  I also tell people how much I love them - all my friends and everyone I like generally. I am also very stubborn when drunk - i don't listen to anyone :s-smilie: I once tried to get into this club god knows how many times when they had refused entry to me because i was too drunk. i didn't listen to my friends who tried to stop me so they just gave up lol. I eventually got barred and kicked on the floor by the woman at the door (what my friends said :s-smilie: ) Im allowed back in now though.

Oh and I give money away and buy people lots of drinks, to get them more drunk too

Reply 11

I've never been that drunk, but I can't walk in a straight line and I giggle at everything.

Reply 12

I fall over, my eyes seem to be a few seconds behind where they should be, I go hyperactive, slur, and am pretty incoherent. The second one is from when I'm just tipsy, the rest are from what I've been told, or seen in videos... since I tend to forget. Yes, also go flirty as well.

Or I just cry. :p:

But everyone is different, and it can change for each person as well. I don't like not knowing, so have gone tee-total now

Hell, I'm drunk right now! It took me three minutes to type that (mostly 'cause I got distracted and went to make some coffee).

And you don't think much of irony.

find it hard to focus on anything (blurred/spinning vision)
generally stagger about and find it hard to find balance (and fall over with any sudden movements)
fall in love with my bed when i flop into it.

depends on level of drunken-ness obviously.

For me, I never been very drunk. The worst for me is being off balance, and my face turning red.

What happens when your drunk?

I get all touchy feely with my best mate (guy).
I say things I really shouldn't (about my ex boyfriends penises or having webcam sex).
I make everyone laugh (not too shabby!) and I got told I can relax a party more by breaking the ice a bit.

I'm pretty extrovert lol.
