quietness

Hello, all :smile:

Just a random question

I am the kind of person that doesnt mind just sitting round with people listening to them and jumping in occationally, but otherwise just enjoying the company. I also dont really talk much anyway. I dont think i act like tag along or anything as i do engage with people a reasonable amount. But id rather just listen to people than i would talk.

Do people think thats odd or boring?

I don't see it's odd or boring at all. I think people much prefer someone who will actually listen to what they're saying then talking over them all the time! My opinion anyway.

Listening is a great skill which most people are really bad at. There's nothing odd or boring about it :smile:

As james rightly said, its a rare skill that many dont have. You're not odd but people might class you as boring if you dont talk much. You should try and socialise more, as you will need to be quite sociable in the future if you were going to the workplace etc!!!
