UEA Freshers' Week 2015

Medsoc Freshers says 11th September is the day you HAVE to move in. Is this true? because some people are saying freshers doesn't start until the 21st. Well confused

If you look on the UEA accommodation site it says that Home Student Arrival takes place on the 19th and 20th of September.https://portal.uea.ac.uk/accommodation/key-dates

Ah, okay thanks. so the main freshers events take place the week starting the 21st i presume?

The first event, the welcome party, is actually on the 20th but there are loads of events after that if you're feeling too rushed. You'll be receiving an email sometime next week that gives you all of the information you'll need. What course are you studying?

Medics start earlier than everyone else and have their own freshers week, as you are doing Maths you don't need to worry about that

Ah okay thanks a lot that clears things up. Where can I buy the wristband for freshers from?

is it worth getting a wristband for the welcomefest? is it the most popular option to do or do most people go out in the city instead? just because I'm worried that i might be wasting my money if not many people are going to go to the events

Does anyone know how much will the individual tickets to the events on freshers week cost? I don't want to attend all of them and 70£ it's a bit to much for my budget
