I'd actually say Art A-Level. The amount of work that it requires is insane. And you actually have to be talented. Either art or a language, I think.

I don't do art though, I actually do all three sciences and double maths. People say sciences are the hardest ones, but they're really not. You just need to memorise facts and you're good to go.

Modern Languages. The amount of work you do, in comparison to other A Levels, is insane IMO.

Loads of people say chemistry, but I actually found it alright, bordering on the easy. Although to be honest, it has always been my vocation so that may have made me sail through it, given that I enjoyed the subject.

Subjective.

For me, it'd be Maths or Further Maths.

Further Maths was the hardest that I took. I know chemistry has got a reputation for being very difficult.

I can see where you're coming from, but the people I know doing modern languages have some sort of background in it (parents are fluent etc) which might make it more manageable.
It's child's play if the language is not new to you, but it's a long war if it's new to you.

Mine was Classical Civilisation but I still really enjoyed it particularly tough was learning and remembering what each emperor was like in terms of political and military experience dates that certain events happened was the worst for me, but the questions were actually alright on the day so fingers crossed!

Further Maths I'd say. Chemistry is easier than Physics.

It is obviously further maths, it is the only A level that builds on knowledge from another A level.

I'm pretty sure it depends on a person. For me it would Maths/Chemistry/Physics. Been struggling with them ever since.

I'd say I've been fortunate enough to have an enthusiastic physics teacher.

I think my friends who were doing Performing Arts as a double BTEC had probably the hardest time because of the constant coursework and relentless teacher [[that nobody in the school liked anyway]]. Also you had to constantly keep that creativity side going and researching etc and if you're tired and struggling then you'd fall behind VERY quickly. Whereas subjects with exams you could just cram it in a month
