Tops that suit small/flat chest

I don't know which type are best, some people say avoid pola neck jumpers but low cut tops would not look right lol.

Halter neck tops are good, but mostly I try to emphasise something else, waist or legs for example. i am quite slim so I tend to wear whatever I happen to like and not worry about having small boobs, but I do steer clear of polonecks and the like

I thought polonecks were good? I wouldn't know personally, but I trust Trinny and Susannah lol. They say if you have small boobs wear high necklines and tops with lots of details to take the attention away from the boobs, and wear tops that show off your shoulders, collarbones or arms since if you have smaller boobs you're more likely to have toned arms and pretty defined shoulders and collarbones (mine are just podgy, the fat seems to spread outwards from my boobs :-( )
And also you're lucky because you can wear loads of really fashionable tops without looking fat. You wouldn't believe how many tops look awful with big boobs! :mad:

Oh you guys are lucky!! Heaps of tops you can wear to make us big bossumed sheilas jealous :biggrin:

For instance woollen vests, I suck at making myself look good in these, or those halter tops that cover the breasts and tie around the neck. Can never wear those :eek:

Just looks like a huge double chin.

Thats the best thing about it, you can wear practically whatever you like, and just accentuate your tiny waist and stuff instead.

Do avoid polo necks...they can make up look as if you go straight down...on me at least...

I have a small chest but after putting on a padded bra, t shirts and polo necks look really good on me, and low necks look awful as they just show off my bony decolletage (sp?)

empire waisted and babydoll tops. tight around the boobies but flares out at the bottom.

i always look ridiculous in tube tops due to my lack of chest so maybe don't wear those.

I tried on a empire waisted top on in Topshop but it was the style thats tighter above the chest so it made me look pregnant will all the billowing fabric over my stomach and completely drowned my small chest :frown:

the ones that aren't so billowy work. i've got a few and they make my chest look bigger than my other tops do.

Polonecks don't always work on me. Sometimes they squish my boobs down so I look even flatter and a bit fat.

most other things okay - within reason though.

Generally, you're best off going with items of clothing that accentuate another part of your body. Having said that, halter tops are good. I think polo necks can be a bit dodgy though.

i just wear anything. i find a decent bra gives you enough shape to be able to wear low cut tops... and low cut tops don't look slutty because, well, there's nothing all that exciting to reveal. so you can wear pretty necklaces and stuff like that. if it weren't for the underwear troubles, i would say that small breasts are great.

girls with small breasts are the ones that can wear high neck tops, it depends what you wear it with, if you wore a long polo neck top you can cinch it in with a belt, and they can look so nice on petite, slim girls it sometimes makes me quite sad that girls who can get away with wearing certain things, don't! :smile:

Best advice is to wear tops with detailing around the bust, which gives more 'volume' to the area.
im in the same situation and cant wear low cut tops :frown:

its abit rubbish tbh.
I like to wear crew neck instead of v neck tops, becuase if ur boobs are really small then v necks just dont work as u have no cleavage :frown:
