What is the career progression for a quantity surveyor?

I have an interview this week. I'm struggling to think of a response to the 'where do you see yourself in ten years' question... How does a QS progress? What would be the typical position of a QS with ten years experience?

Answer to your question- "Over the years I see myself managing and guiding other surveyors under me with the knowledge I acquired adding value to the organisation. I see myself in the position of Principal quantity surveyor with Chartership qualification in RICS "
Hello, I also want to do job at construction industry. In this service it includes cost planning and management. Now, I am in a training session for it.
