What is a secondary education transcript? UCAS

I believe some universities ask prospective students to present a transcript? What information is on a transcript and does it show things like all your grades (including resits and dropped subjects)?

Im from an EU country and I do have a secondary education transcript (aka 4 year high school transcript) but unis in the UK have never asked anyone I know from my country to show them the transcript, they just asked us to give them our final exams transcript (which is like A level results)

A secondary education transcript lists all the subjects you did every year at your high school, the grades you got, and how many days you missed and how many of these were unexcused absences.
