Love or Friends?

Basically i met this guy at a party and we've been getting to know each other.
He has been texting me constantly every night at like 4:30am..saying how he can't sleep and asks what im doing.
Recently he's been texting me nearly every day and asks if i'm alright...etc.
He lives in manchester....and he's gonna come down to london and he wants to see me and for about half a year he's been trying to meet up with me.
His text messages are crazy, like sometimes he says how we should fly to Mars alone.
And he calls me his 'crazy babe'.
Im so clueless when it comes to guys showing signs of affection. My friend thinks he fancies me really badly. But i can't tell? Im not sure if he's just being friendly or if its just lust?
I've only had one short term boyfriend so i dont know what to think?
I just wanted to know what anyone thinks?

I just couldn't tell. Some guys like to muck around and chat girls up for no reason. But then my mate was saying how...no one would waste their time texting a girl at 4am in the morning if he didn't really like her???
But ....what if he's got problems that he wants to talk about?...i just couldnt tell???

You make a good point in the post above. Guys don't text girls in the middle of the night unless there's some serious loveage going on.....we like sleep too much

Hmm, a guy once texted me at like half three in the morning to declare his love...I found it more annoying than endearing. :rolleyes:

Particularly as my phone kept beeping at intervals until I read it. He got turned down.

But yeah, it does sound like he likes you. :smile:

Just to update.....he called me three times last night at 5am. And i didnt pick up the phone...then he txt me and was angry at me for hanging the phone up on him.
I rung him back ...and he started telling me that he's having problems with his ex-girfriend and he thought of me straight away and needed someone to talk to.
Now i dont understand if he likes me..or sees me as a friend? If he liked me, why is he telling me about ex-gf? He's just getting freakier by the minute?

Why don't you just ask him? If it doesn't work out then he doesn't live near you so it doesn't really matter. If it's been going on for half a year it's got to the stage where you should just find out!
