Really useful website for finding voluntary work! Helped me find my place!!

I just thought i'd share this website as I've noticed a lot of people asking about volunteer opportunities in this forum and having trouble finding them.
This website was actually recommended by one of my learning advisors when I was looking for volunteer work for my DofE gold award.

https://do-it.org/

It works by searching for placements that organisations have advertised and shows the kind of work they are after and whether it is part time or not. I found it really useful as it gives the address and phone number of organisations.

I've been voluntarily working in a charity for over a month now and I do various jobs for them (they're very flexible). I found them through this website and they're situated about a 10 minute walk from where I live!!
And this article will tell you which is the best kind of volunteering for your CV, what clubs and societies you can join and how this can lead to work experience and potentially permanent employment:
