Nausea & vomiting & headache that won't go away

I caught a cold last week and I travelled on the train this weekend while I had the cold. I usually get motion sickness on the train, and as usual I vomited on the train this weekend (in the bathrooms). I had really horrible nausea on the train.

Now I am back home, and finished with the train ride but I am still so very nauseous and retching all the time. I can't eat food cause I throwup and I retch when I smell food. I also have the most severe headache I had since the weekend. I took Ibuprofen but it didn't stop the headache.

I still have the cold (sniffy bunged up nose at the moment)
Anyone have an idea of whats the matter with me? Or does is sound bad enough to goto my GP?

Thanks
Sounds like the flu to me.

thanks..
You could have a migraine, as nausea and a bad headache are signs of a migraine.

The best thing to do would probably to go and see your doctor to get a diagnosis

I don't associate nausea with flu. Could be a migraine or possibly an ear infection. This would cause nausea but anyhow you need to be checked out by the doctor.

I've been nautious with a bad cold, so I'm sure it's possible with influenza. I wouldn't rule it out to be honest. Especially as it's been there for a while, and your body is blates fighting off the virus innit......!
