Why?

Because I want to remain technical for as long as possible. When you start moving into people/programme management in my field, you end up doing dull **** like appraisals and budget planning and don't have any time to get involved with the technical analysis, which is what I actually really enjoy.

Liverpool?

If I said I didn't want to disclose it publicly, why would you ask me that publicly?
Graduated with an MSc from Warwick in 2012.
After 2.5 years of working in Brand Management for a global consumer goods corporation, I am now heading the Online Marketing department of a family business with ~30 employees.

Just a question, chill. Feel free just not to answer. No idea why you're hiding your uni anyway

Sounds like you're ashamed for some reason.

No I'm very proud of my uni actually and I'm going back to it for my BSc so you're totally barking up the wrong tree. I have personal reasons for not disclosing my uni - it wouldn't take a genius to find out my grad year, classification, uni name and current job to know who I am and there are certain people that I don't want finding me online or otherwise for reasons that have nothing to do with you.

Degree: BEng (Hons) Digital Forensics and System Security
University: Coventry
Graduation Year: 2011
Job: Senior Cyber Security and Forensics specialist.
Salary: ~£75-80k inc. bonuses and shares + Bens
Previous jobs since graduation: Senior manager for a large distribution company and a Cyber Intelligence Analyst for a large defence prime.
Future plans: Bag a lead role somewhere cushy in London and settle in for the long haul. I don't have ambitions of moving up to Manager/Director level any time soon - I want to remain technical for as long as possible. Perhaps in about 5-10 years time, I could probably see myself moving up the chain and probably finishing up in a CISO role somewhere by the time I reach 45.

****...I want your life..

Is 31k your starting salary? Would you rather have a more fun job but be paid half that?

What's your yearly salary? I assumed it was 31k, and a typo, rather than 3.1k because the latter is way too low.

I actually just got offered a job but its personal retail. So I am walking to strangers on the street and selling them some products? So for anyone who has done this should I take it? I need the experince

I'm gonna take a guess and assume that the company your working for also wants you to be self employed? Is retail what you actually want to get into? I wouldn't bother with it for experience, only if you need money.
