i attended uni about 7 years ago but never finished my course. I had a student loan and grant. I am now hoping to go back into education in September and should be doing an access to nursing course. Will I still be eligible for the 24+ advanced learners loan?

Yes, you will still be eligible. The previous study rule for 24+ Advanced Learning Loan is separate from the previous study rule for HE student entitlement.

You can have up to a maximum of four 24+ Advanced Learning Loans in total. If you have taken a 24+ loan to fund a course, you cannot take out a second loan to cover another course of the same type and level as the one you have already completed.
