Chamberlain Accomodation

Hi :hello:

Earlier this week, I accepted an offer for Chamberlain accommodation (my first choice - yay!) and was wondering if anyone else has done, is doing or will do the same.

Anyone know which building block A 94 would be? I was wondering if that'd be the tall 21 story or one of the lower rise ones. Im studying Human Biology btw

Hi,
Blocks A, B and C are low rise. Not sure which is which though. Tower block allocations don't have a letter, according to 'Living'.

Sorry, question to a question, but did your accommodation actually include the world 'block'? In my booking details, it says that my room is CH-A-087 etc. but my room address doesn't actually mention the letter A nor the world block... wondering if I might be in the 20-storey tower now... would rather be in a low-rise xD

I can just imagine... the pain of having to get up and go outside at 3am because someone decided to make some midnight toast and miraculously set the fire alarm off... the chances of that happening are so much higher in the tower... :s-smilie: and to me, I almost feel like it'd be easier to make new friends in the low rises, it seems like it'd be a much more cosy place! Like a mini house with a few floors!

Exactly what I thought! But turns out that if it says A, B or C it's low-rise! So we're okay

Also slightly worried that we're in the new development building. I just hope that it actually looks like the sample pictures on their Flickr account! Since we're the 1st lot to ever be there, there's no past student's experiences... how much space is there exactly? Any under-bed storage? Ahh so many questions!
Chamberlain too!!
