Honestly, it's fine! Please check out the other threads. This is getting silly.

a friend of mine who is 16 is going out with a 29 year old.... Somethings kinda wrong there but i suppose it is legal and they both love each other... :s-smilie:
I was only just 18 when I started going out with my bf who was 21; and two years on we're still together and extremely happy  I don't think it matters if it's the girl who's older. Age is quite an arbitrary thing really as long as the gap isn't so big that you feel unequal.
I don't know, but I seem to think that an older male is the better way to go. But it's not too bad.
no,

My dad's younger than my mum. It just doesn't matter at one point anymore. And that point may have been reached between you and your bf.
However, I really don't see the need to seek re-assurance on a student forum about this issue. It is your friends who may or may not have a problem with it.

If you're happy together, then thats all that matters.

I'm actually getting sick of these threads now.
No, not at all.

I thought it was freakishly weird until i started with my boyfriend. Granted hes only 18 months younger than me but it was still a huge deal to me that he was younger than me at all.

I'm nearly 20 and i'd find it slightly annoying to be with someone thats under 18 because you miss out on going clubbing/ to the pub with them :s-smilie:
Heh, if one of my female friends was cradle-snatching a 17 year old, I would laugh and laugh and laugh . And then, I would laugh some more. And I would send her little notes saying "CRADLE SNATCHER" and laugh. If we went out drinking, I'd raise my glass in a toast and say "here's to you... mrs robinson" and laugh more.

...but it's not THAT bad I suppose.

True. My boyfriend is nearly two years younger than me and I did find it strange, to the point that I didn't tell my parents how old he was for months!

I guess it was likely to happen since I went to uni at 20 and was constantly around 18 year olds. *shrug* It doesn't bother me any more.
