Im not seeing the problem.....
Ok bit of a story but here we go.....
Basically this weekend me and my gf are going home but due to work and uni commitments I will only be home on the friday night! Its one of our friends b'day parties on the friday! However some of my mates can't come cos this guy's gf who is organising the party was sleeping with one of my mates for 6 months last year!!!
Also on friday my mates who can't come are having a party aswell (organised well before the one previously mentioned) and my gf has said that she is more than willing to come so we are leaving the first party around 10:30/11 to go to the other party! Now I dont see what the hell the problem is!
At the end of the day all the people giving me a hard time leave parties early regularly sometimes to go to others and when they do they lie about it and we don't find out what happened until a few days later, even the girl organising is giving me stick and well I have just told her that it aint my fault that everyone can't come! I don't see why my other mates can't come cos they wont tell her bf and this girl is out with them then all the time and tells her bf he cant come!!! I mean at least im being honest about where we are going! Can someone tell me what the big problem is here???

Well, you have the good grace to show your face at both parties, I'd say people should be grateful for that. Ignore them, people enjoying being hypocritical.

Thankyou! At the end of the day im only home one night so to see all friends aswell as family I have to compromise thats what they don't seem to understand I mean my mates at the 2nd party understand and are happy that im at least coming! But the girl organising the birthday party just wont see why the compromise needs to be reached!

She needs to get her own house in order before she starts lecturing you on your loyalties!
What you are doing is fine. You are giving time to both sets of mates and that is a decent thing to do, esp as you are only home for one day! Ignore them, let them whine.

Ok so maybe a quiet word in her ear wouldnt go amiss eh? 
Hmm yeah well I have made the comment of 'oh well who's fault is it that everyone can't come together in the first place?' the response I got was 'ok calm down'.
But at the end of the day she was saying oh he (her bf its his party) wont be happy he wont wanna see you to going and he will convince my gf to stay and then i will stay! But well...
1. My gf wants to leave and go to the other party as she likes the other guys
2. I would like to see her explain why the other guys can't come! I can hardly imagine she is going to do that one!

I think the problem may be that you seem to have a pathological desire to end every sentence with an exclamation mark. The short answer to your question is, there is no problem. Your friends are being very immature. If I were you I would tell them they've acted like such idiots that you're going to have a night in with your girlfriend instead.
