How much would insurace an Audi r8 cost for a 19 year old who just passed?

I'm going to phone them but just wanted to know what people think?

Probably more than the car itself

I know someone who is 28 with an Audi R8 Spyder his insurance is £6,000 a year. You probably won't even get insured.
If you have to ask you probably can't afford it

Haha true. The sort of teen who can afford + insure such a car would use a private jet anyway.

Unlikely they would do it. Just to put things into perspective for you. My first car was a 1.6ltr Peugeot 106 diesel. It was a P reg banger that used to shake when I passed 70mph. That used to cost me 1400 quid a year on insurance and that is ten years ago. So..... An Audi r8? good luck!
I have done a quote on money supermarket using my address (nice area in standard suburbia) using 1996 DOB and a mid range model, one year old, driver having had a licence for 2 years and being in a standard clerical job.

Quotes ranged between £21000 and £33000 per annum.

Edit: oh and you have to have a black box fitted for the £21000 one!

R8s are pretty bland really, they're not that quick and although they're reliable enough to use as an everyday car there's a lot of other cars that are just as fast that are more practical

Really? Are you suggesting I made it up?

Go for it, you crack on and get a better quote, it's likely to be worse since I pretended you had held a licence for two years and weren't a complete beginner.
