Can i just check - u know an average period cycle is 28 days - does that mean that there are on average 28 days between the end of one period and the start of your next or does it not - Thanks sorry if sounds bit thick

Yup.

With me, it's always 4 weeks from end of Period - to start of next one.

Maybe i'm wrong. But i thought that was the cycle ?

But certainley with me - it's 4 weeks from end of Period - to start of next one

If it included week of my period - my cycle would be 5 weeks.

Erm, we appear to be! The cycle includes a period, so, therefore you have three weeks of nothing, and then a week of period in a cycle, technically.

If you're an average type, that is...

My cycle must be 5 weeks then.

4 weeks between periods - then week for period ?

yup
On average it's 28 days from the first day of one period to the first day of the next period.

The number of days varies between women though.

I recommend www.mymonthlycycle.com to keep track of your periods.

ETA: I'd like to think I know what I'm talking about - since I was charting periods and ovulation for 8 months whilst we were trying for baby no#2
