can you get examination earlier than stated in module description

hi
i wonder if its possible to get your examination earlier? ex if module starts in october and exams take place end of may or beggining of june, is it possible to get it couple months earlier if you are ahead with material?

No - the exam questions have to be kept confidential (for obvious reasons) which they couldn't maintain if some people were able to do the exam before others. Everyone on the module will sit the exam at the same time (though not in the same place) to ensure no-one can get an unfair advantage.

If you do a module with an EMA, though, then you can get on with that well in advance, and hand it in long before the deadline if you chose to.
