Yes, but would you have said the comment you said about self harming in a lecture? The anwser to that would then anwser your earlier claim that you don't know if something is offensive until you say it.
And I know it isn't, but self harming is, and the comment I took issue with was not respectful to those who self harm at all. Anyway I don't want to have this discussion anymore.
