6. P1 you need to know:

ax^2+bx+c=0 has roots -b+- rootb^2-4ac/2a

arithmetic series

Un=a+(n-1)d

Sn=1/2n(a+l) or 1/2n(2a+(n-1)d)

geometric series

Un=ar^n-1

Sn=a(i-r^n)/1-r

sum to infinity a/1-r when r<1
7. s1 theres a load of formulas but most of them are in the formula booklet u get, i advise you get one before the exam and familiarise yourself with the formulaes or u wont no what ur doing.

mean= Ex/n or Efx/Ef

standard deviation is square root of variance

interquartile range IQR = Q3-Q1

P(A')=1-P(A)

for independant events, P(B!A)=P(B)
P(A!B)=P(A)
P(AnB)=P(A)P(B)
note ignore the exclamation mark its just a straight line

E(aX+b)=aE(X)+b
Var (aX+b)=a^2Var(X)

standerdised normal random variable Z=X-mean/variance

For P1
you need to know the following:

discriminant b^2 - 4ac
AP nth = a + (n - 1)d
Sn = n/2 (2a + (n - 1)d)

GP nth = ar^ n-1
Sn = n(1 - r)/ 1 - r
Infinity one

Sine rule
Cosine rule
tanx = sinx / cosx
sin^2 + cos^2 = 1
Cotx, Cosecx, Secx

y = mx + c
gradient = y2 - y1 / x2 - x1
length of straight line = square root of (x2 - x1)^2 + (y2 - y1)^2
Midpoint of straight line = (0.5(x1 + x2), 0.5(y1 + y2))

s1

P(AuB) = P(A) + P(B) - P(AnB)
Conditional
Indepenedent
Mutually exclusive events

Sxx, Sxy, Syy, regression line etc... (but they will be in the formula booklet)

Frequency density = frequency / class width (for histograms)

Um I will let you know if theres anymore, Im doing this from memory, so I think there is more.
