Help! Emergency question!

I need to consider the following question for tomorrow, but I can't think of the right things to say, and it doesn't help me having flu!

"Pourquoi est-il particulierement important de lutter contre la discrimination a l'embauche?"

Well, you could link it to all the riots in France recently. They occurred in the suburbs where the immigrants lived and they were poor because most of them were unemployed or on really low wages, so discriminating against them in the workforce led to a low standard of living and social tension that resulted in riots. You could also discuss the mass protests by young people last year over the new employment contract. More generally, you could just say that there are lots of different groups in French society and it's important not to discriminate against any of them to promote social cohesion.

You could discuss the fact that if young black, or Arab immigrant adolescents/people in their 20s don't have jobs and don't live honestly, they'll be forced to turn to crime and so on.

You could also say how this would aid relations within the workplace and force harmony if you like. Lots of poitns for discussion there, good luck with it.
