I have some data points, time v metric1.

Time goes from 1 to 10
Metric1 only has 5 points, at time = 1, 3, 6, 7 and 9

My question is, using Excel, should I plot a scatter graph or a line graph?

The line of best fit is different depending whether it's line or scatter.
