What's your partner's view on the situation? He/she should be able to answer these questions for you and you might be able to get a rough idea of their thoughts by how they treat you as well.

I would have thought that as long as you are courteous, polite and not waving a satanist flag or spewing anti-christian phrases whenever you see them they should accept you. A friend of mine has very religious parents and i get along with her mum like a house on fire, i talk to her more than my friend!

Obviously everyone's different but if its meant to be love will find a way, good luck!

My family are very religious, but if I chose a partner from outside the faith they would accept it so long as they thought they would make me happy and would not try to turn me away from my faith.
Your religion can't matter that much to your partner or s/he would not be with you in the first place.

Well to my partner it doesn't make any difference what religion I am...but his family all marry in to the faith...so surely they may have some hidden agenda for him?

They probably do have a hidden agenda. i guess to an extent my family do also. but i guess you got to show you are not anti-religous and that you will accept their faith. this will cause less conflict at the end of the day.

My family told me a psychic told them I shouldn't go out with my boyfriend (who is white) (I am half indian) Families will do crazy things to split you up, even if it's not blatantly obvious.

Probably will cause some friction OP. Most strong Christian parents of friends I know are complete nutbags.
