Well it seems like that somebody "who can create the stars" is singing about his great love for a particular person.

And all the things that this person does becomes yellow...

Yeah so Justice this is my interpretation of what the song "Yellow" means. Hope it helps a lot more than the one's which came before it....

Oh and by the way this song was apparently written by Chris Martin (from UCL) after seeing the Yellow Pages. This is why I sometimes think it is a divinely inspired song....
