It's usually very easy to smell alcohol on someone's breath, or in a room. I don't condone under-age drinking, but the best way to remove the signs is to brush your teeth and open all windows. Assuming nothing is spilt, martini and champagne are not particularly smelly drinks anyway.

I recommend that you ask your parents if you can drink. They will obviously find out if you get completely drunk, so I assume you're only going to drink in moderation anyway. They may be supportive.

Open windows, brush teeth. Job done. If it's getting overly smelly, a spray of odour remover will take it away.

The fact that you are asking how to hide that you are drinking probably means you're a young teenager. This means that despite the fact you may be able to hide the smell, you will not be able to hide the giggly, swaying, slurring teenagers from the room. You are going to fail.

Drinking is a terrible habit. Why do you want to do it in the first place? Drink some water.

Indeed, three litres and you'll black out and wake up in a pool of your own sick/urine next to a naked girl, its some heavy ****.

me and my friends are drinking at my place. maritni and champagne. i think those arent very smelly and if we chew gum my parents wont know. anyone have ideas bout how to get the smell out of ur breath? and also, does alcohol stink up a room?

it would be blatantly obvious that you are drinking if your parents venture into your room. but try using lots of air freshener. perhaps start air freshening your room every day so your parents don't think it is odd that you are doing it at the same time as havign your friends round.. If you get drunk your parents will probably be able to tell, really easily. Therefore avoid all possible contact. IF they try to speak to you, you are screwed. If your parents are quite against you drinking alcohol, it doesn't really sound like a good idea, because the chances are you will get caught. And if not you then your parents will wonder why one of your friends is acting so strange. I tended to drink outside if I wanted to get drunk when I was younger, very very rarely did we do it at someone's house. That always meant getting caught, ending the fun, not that they were particularly against alcohol, but I'm sure a few 14 year olds getting drunk in your house must be a bit awkward.

But anyway, I would never get drunk like that again, I've made several big mistakes before, but I guess with that kind of thing you can only learn from experience... good times though lol.

Do you have to get drunk?? Whats wrong with having a drink or 2 and not getting trashed? However, if you're like 13, then a glass or 2 of champagne mite still be enuf to make your liver cry..... lol....

They're TEENAGERS, even if they only have one glass and still don't actually get drunk, they'll still giggle like morons and pretend they've had about 15 shots of vodka.

Very true! While in strasbourg when i was 15, a friend of mine had a small glass with a shot-size of wine and the rest red bull. The next day apparently he had the whole bottle of wine and was completely off his face, well, so he told other ppl!!! Typical teens!

If you are soworried you will get caught dont drink in your house, trust me it NEVER works parents might look stupid but unfortunately 99% of the time they are not....

cos they probably tried the same thing when they were your age:p:

Why exactly do you want to hide in your room in your parents' house and get drunk? Doesn't exactly sound that fun to me! Also, if you are an inexperienced drinker, mixing champagne with spirits will probably lead to one very bad hangover and high probability of being sick...

well im ready to risk it because it will only be my dad and we plan to do it when he goes to bed. its a sleep-over.

Reply 19

trust me i know where your coming from, your 17 years old, with your mates and wanna have some fun with out your dad ruining everything.

but come on!!

show your dad some respect and act like the adult you nearly are, hes said he doesnt want any alcohol, your in his house, paid for by his money and hes giving up a night of sleep so that you can have friends round (most parents cant sleep when theres a sleepover think its cos of the high pitched giggling at five oclock in the morning:p: )

i was realyl sympathetic towards you in your other post (i assuming its you) and i really get that you want to be able to have a good time at your sleepover but serioudly what makes you think youve go the right to completely go against your dads wishes like that.

i dont mean to sound like a grumpy old bitch honestly but seriously show some respect!
