    Lo all,

From the looks of things I will be going to uni in September. At that time I will be enrolled on a Computer Science sandwich course (one year spent in paid work experience)

Does it really matter if you can drive or not?, ie, will it effect your chances of getting a job in a good place? Also, if you work in at a company far away from the university, will the uni help you find accommodation for the time you'll be working.

    Thanks

I don't think driving has anything to do with the selection process. Although if you do drive you will be able to apply for jobs located away from public transport e.g. in the sticks. But if you're doing Computer Science, a lot of companies are located in the city so whether you drive or not shouldn't really make a difference.

If you live in the city then driving won't be a problem. Its not been a problem for me.
