I taught myself A Level Maths in Sixth Form. I found the Letts and CGP books rubbish to teach myself from scratch. I actually used the edexcel textbooks (and my exam board wasn't even edexcel!) - they were very good!

I also used this document here which was particularly useful: http://www.angelfire.com/folk/mcook/p1-p3.pdf
Although it is focused on AQA Maths, i'm sure that much of it would be relevant to Edexcel.

I also used the MyMaths website originally for C1 and C2 (mymaths.co.uk) - if your school doesn't have a subscription, just google it and someone will probs have posted a password in a forum somewhere :P This website really explains things from scratch!

All the best with it!

I would find your exam board textbooks online, and past papers and worked solutions are really best for it. CGP are okay but better for review rather than first time learning. If you need any help with any of the topics I did AQA and you can PM me if you like. (I also found http://www.furthermaths.org.uk/ useful for some of my applied modules as I did a variety but my mech and decisions teachers weren't as good at providing materials). There are a lot of C1-4 videos on youtube which I also found very helpful.

http://www.mathsbox.org.uk/revisionn...on%20Notes.pdf
http://www.mathsbox.org.uk/revisionn...on%20Notes.pdf

those are some good pdfs for an overview, you can find them for pretty much any other unit too by googling the number of the unit and "mathsbox" eg "C1 mathsbox".

Good luck.

I remember being stuck in China for 7 weeks back in 2012. I had nothing to do in the afternoons so I learnt C1 and C2. It only took 2 weeks and I was left with 5 more weeks with nothing to do
