jelly lumps

this week i started bleeding its the first one after i had my implant inserted its been 1month 3weeks, how ever when i went to the loo today this big clear like jelly thing with like blood vessely bits was there have i miscarried or something or is this normal help please

ok thanx its like clear jelly with red vessels in it does no 1 know what this might be im scared and cant get to doctor till tomorow.

the contraceptive implanon and yes but this was a clear like jelly wit red vessels

Sounds like discharge to me - I'm pretty sure the implant can cause your natural mucous to thicken. In any case don't panic, nothing awful is going to happen. How big was the lump thing?

Ya I googled it and here we go:

The main way the Implant works is by stopping the ovaries from releasing an egg each month (ovulation). The implant also works by stopping sperm from reaching the egg by thickening the mucus from the cervix and stops an egg from settling in the womb.

A miscarriage would almost certainly involve significant abdominal pain and a lot of bleeding, so don't worry about that. Most likely is that the natural contractions of your uterine wall during your period have just dislodged a big lump of mucous, which might be a little gross but nothing to worry about. See your doctor if you're worried but there's no reason to panic.
