Rather than rely on online tests, go see your doctor. Even if they can't help you, they can recommend you to some places that could.

Whether you're depressed or not isn't the issue, the fact is that you're obviously struggling - the fact you're feeling suicidal is a pretty obvious indication of this - and it may be good to get some support during this time in your life. Don't worry about named diagnoses, just take care of you

Can my doctor refer me to a counsellor or someone? I feel as if I should do something about how I'm feeling but I don't know if I'd feel stupid going to a counsellor.. x

My sister has been referred to various counsellors & therapists over the last year. She is suffering from an eating disorder & therapy had been really helping her. Up until know that is .... :frown:

Your doctor can refer you, or they could give you some contact numbers. xx

If you believe that you are depressed, because you are showing symptoms of this not because of an online test, then you should go and see your GP. Your GP is there to help you and will do what they can to make sure that you get the help which you need. They could prescribe you with medication, refer you to a counsellor or give you numbers of support groups and others that will be of use to you.

Depression is a horrible thing, you should see your GP immediately if you are feeling so bad. They will be able to help you, it's nothing to be ashamed of and it's nothing to worry about. In time, with the proper care, you will get through this.

The best thing to do is your GP, who will refer you to someone suitable if required.

I would consult in a doctor personally. Depression is not a good thing for you and for those around you, it can be a tough time. I remember when my mom went into depression, you just have to support them, and it is very hard because you can't see those you love suffer. We took her to a psychologist who was the wife of our family GP.

I got 43. I'm so far gone that I don't even bother asking for help anymore, because no-one can help.

I think you should see your GP though.

Woo 32 or Severe Depression but I'd pretty much already guessed that. I'll probably wait until I'm at uni before seeing a GP though.
