It wasnt a long period of time really, just about 5 - 10 minuites.
I will book an appointment to see the doctor just to be on the safe side.
Thanks for your advice.
It's unwise to listen to your iPod that loud, it can do terrible damage to your eardrums. If you're still having this pain tomorrow I'd definitely go to see you doctor. The pain may not be cause by the iPod, of course, so you should find out where its coming from.

It could be loads of diff things that gave you that pain. It doesn't seem like it will be permanent damage but i reckon you should give your ipod a rest and other loud music sources.
My left ear feels blocked today. I don't feel as though I'm coming down with a cold, but I do listen to music quite loud, although not loud all the time. Horrible feeling, and really annoying.

That's probs negative pressure in your left ear due to the loud levels messing up ur tympanic membrane or some other crap.. should repair on its own tho.

Today while on the bus i was listening to music on my Ipod pretty loud. Now, i have being getting pain in my left ear. It isnt constant pain, just spurts of pain now and then. I am quite worried about it.
Do you think this could be serious?

I'm an expert at pains in the ears lol. I suffer a lot from ear infection.

Just ignore it for a day and if it persits and becomes blocked it could be an infection.

Listening to loud music can damage your ears, but not in the way of making them painful. You've got one of two things, either you have a small spot in your ear which will go away on its own after a few days, or alternatively you may have an ear infection, in which case you will probably need to go to the doctors for some ear drops/antibiotics. Give it a few days, if it is an ear infection it will get worse, if it isn't getting any worse then it is unlikely to be an ear infection and will clear up on its own. Either way, it's nothing to worry about.
