drink some water. Get away from the computer. Try not to read anything or watch tv etc.
Just relax for a bit. Make sure you aren't eating junk and try to forget about. If you focus on the headache you will feel worse.

hi normally when i get a head ache, its behind my eyes and its banging but normally if i take painkillers it goes but i just cant seem to shift it today, any ideas what i can do to get rid of it

Don't use the computer, and make sure your well hydrated. If you seem to get headaches regularly it might be worth going to the doctors to get checked out.
Plenty of hydration, no TV/computer/reading/etc., painkillers (paracetamol and ibuprofen/asprin if it's bad), and try and sleep a little if you can. If you're having trouble shifting it, try Syndol. It contains stuff which will make you very drowsy though, but it is incredibly effective.
