Marxists view them as commodities to the state as in government.
Marxists think that humans are inherently bad so require force from the state to improve society- of course they don't factor in that the people running such a state succumb to human nature to- and thus why commie states have been such ****holes.

You dont understand Marxism. You're just jumping to the conclusion that I agree with Russian and Chinese Communism. In a true Marxist state there would be no Law or Government just a state administration.

Its something like a civil service they just do economics. TBH I don't really understand myself. Like what would the community do if someone murdered someone without any kind of law?

So an unaccountable organisation dictating economic policy and mob justice. That sounds ideal.

No I didn't know that, I must admit that I'm not an economist, nor have I studied economics or free markets. I like to test the waters by applying reason and logical argument to more or less any situation which I'm not a specialist. You'd be surprised how far you can get

I'll do some research, though, I quite like the Tories

Libertarians do believe in some tax, if they didn't they'd be anarchists,

Libertarians believe in a night watchmen state of courts, armed forces and police or as small a government as feasibly possible - or a benign dictator.

100% libertarian,
or minarchism
if people should be free socially and the government doesn't know what's best for everybody, then that logic shouldn't just apply socially - it should apply economically too.

It is an idealistic utopian society.
Humanist :colonhash:
I would be a social democrat, or a liberal.
I'm a paleoconservative, or just a conservative, with quite a few libertarian leanings. Surprised to see 10 votes under Conservative, but not shocked about the amount of socialists here. Student life is the land of the free; the first big hand-out after mum and dad and a delay for getting a job (if you want to slum it). The lack of real-world experience makes it easy for your professors to encourage a love for Marxism, equality and such.

I however take more a personal freedom approach to politics. I've decided, however, if I were to ever take power, I would maintain a small welfare state for the truly needy and deregulate all business. Make it easy for microbusiness start-ups and remove the veil of the corporation. Remove state corruption from business and gg, great society.
I'd say I'm an egalitarian socialist, but with a libertarian streak. I believe in government and public services that are transparent, accountable, fair and exist primarily to serve the people, but I also believe that individuals should have as much control as possible over their own lives and that one of the purposes of government is to ensure that people have equal opportunities to do what they like with their lives.
i am a UKIP supporter

Conservatism in its purest i.e textbook form.
Other: Reactionary. Democracy and Feminism were the two biggest mistakes of the 20th century.

Bland Conservatism is utterly useless and "Fascism" is essentially meaningless now except as a word that the left uses to shut out political opponents.
If you wanted to label me I'm probably a trotskyist.

As I'm sure any Fascist would agree :teehee:

I got called fascist for saying I liked Bernie Sanders. :dontknow: There's a guy on here who keeps making threads calling Corbyn fascist. Fascist gets bandied around a lot, stop winging.

I can also think of some events that occurred during the 20th century in Europe that were a tad worse than everyone getting the vote in the UK. Don't ya think?

Look! A trot! *gasp*

Do you think Stalin betrayed the revolution or did the regime Lenin, with the help of Trotsky, install start out as a tyrannical oppressive police state?

Well yes mass murder and brutality is worse than universal suffrage. That doesn't mean universal suffrage is a good thing. Your argument just doesn't follow.

Genocide on an industrial scale >>>>>> women and working people voting (which most people think is a good thing). You said voting was the worse thing to ever happen in the 20th century. My argument is simple and it makes you look like a plonker.

Well I would argue that universal suffrage in every democractic society on earth was worse than mass murder because it has longer lasting negative long term effects.
