is hertfordshire good for pharmacy?

does anyone know if its worth studying pharmacy at hertfordshire uni, teaching quality, facilities etc.. and if the degree will be recognized by employers. ty

From what I know it hasn't offered pharmacy very long. I'm not sure if it is accredited either...

It doesn't make much of a difference what uni you go to in terms of what they teach because they all have to teach the same thins, but some unis have a certain prestige to them like LSOP which makes them more appealing to employers.

LSOP? You're having a laugh. Yeah it's a good place but the top dogs for Pharmacy are Manchester, Bath and Nottingham.

Oh and herfordshire won't be accredited yet because I don't think they were offering pharmacy when I started (I don't think). That means it won't have the prestige of some of the older pharmacy schools but it just means you'll have to get yourself out there and so as much work experience as possible, get your foot in as many doors as possible etc .... actually that's pretty much the same for any uni.

my dad works in the pharmacy dept. at herts uni and I can't remember exactly but they have got the first part of their acreditation recently or something like that (i only know this becuase they all went out to dinner to celebrate!)
its not the best for pharmacy that there is, and if you have the grades I would say try to aim a bit higher! I think the students complain about it being a little bit unorganised sometimes (my dad would kill me for saying this haha!)
but the uni is quite nice and at the end of the day most pharmacy courses are pretty similar.
