Blocked nose + bleeding

Don't know if this is worth going to the doctor about, but my right nasal passage often gets blocked up and sometimes it starts bleeding when I try to clear it away.
It only seems to be my right nostril and when I was very young I used to get nose bleeds frequently, and a nurse suggested I might need an operation. It stopped for ten years after that but its come back again. Does anyone else get this, or had an operation?

I had mine quartorized (is that how you spell it?) four times when I was younger. That's probably what the nurse was talking about, it's quite normal.

Yeah, its when you have your nerve endings fused together. I just don't know whether to go to the doctor or if theres anything I could do myself, like buy a nasal spray or something?
